The Internet of Things (IoT) uses 3G or 4G SIMs to provide M2M (machine-to-machine)-connectivity services.  Generally IoT is used for low bandwidth data collection or remote monitoring services.  IoT is ideal for building and environmental monitoring or logistics management but has been developed to provide connectivity for anything.  Hughes has partnered with Vodafone to utilise their Global IoT services platform to provide European wide IoT connectivity.  Using Vodafones worldwide connectivity we can also look to provide services globally dependent on country regulatory restrictions.
